About Me
Hi, I’m the voice behind Messy but Managed.
I’m a mom to two girls who are complete opposites in personality, which means our house runs on equal parts laughter and chaos.
I’m married to a husband who handles bedtime and most of the chores (bless him), while I wrangle kids, activities, and the never-ending mental load.
By day, I’m a social worker fueled by coffee. By night, I’m fueled by sarcasm, messy-bun energy, and the occasional margarita.
I love true crime podcasts, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, and the idea of stealing a baby highland cow (kidding…sort of).
Game nights, messy crafts, hikes I probably shouldn’t have attempted, and paddle-boarding keep me grounded.
I started this blog to share the funny, chaotic, and meaningful moments of mom life. The ones that make you laugh, cry, or want to scream into a pillow (sometimes all in the same hour).
Around here, I’m the conductor of the Hot Mess Express, sometimes with calm, sometimes with chaos, but always with honesty. Each post comes with a little sprinkle of perspective from my social worker side, not expert lectures, just ideas that help when the messy feels unmanageable.
If you’re looking for perfect, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for relatable, a little messy, and sometimes managed, you’re in the right place.
